Frequently Asked Questions
Can I show up without my parent(s) or guardian?
Yes. In the State of Colorado, young people ages 12–20 can receive help and resources without requiring a parent or guardian's permission. You are welcome to come in on your own.
Is the Evergreen Resiliency Center just about therapy?
No. Evergreen Resiliency Center offers much more than traditional therapy. We provide supportive and healing spaces, skill-building and resilience education, academic and practical support, resource navigation, community healing and rituals, and opportunities for safety, empowerment, and youth voice.
How do services work at the ERC?
You are welcome to drop in to relax, recharge, draw, do homework or work tasks, play games, or simply spend time in a safe and welcoming space. If you're interested in additional support, such as resource navigation or referrals, advocacy, or help connecting to therapy, you can talk with staff at any time, and we'll help you find what you need.
Do I need to fill out any paperwork of any kind prior to attending the ERC?
No. You do not need to complete any paperwork before coming to the Evergreen Resiliency Center. As you begin participating in programs or activities, you may be asked to fill out simple forms, such as a welcome form or activity-specific paperwork.
Do I need to schedule an appointment to go to the ERC?
No appointment is needed. You're welcome to drop in during open hours. Just come by when it works for you! Some specific events may require an RSVP, and will be advertised as such.
